You’ve most probably heard this saying so many times before… ‘when there’s a will, there’s a way.’ What does this message really mean? What if you try your best and yet you aren’t able to achieve what you set out to do? But, do you REALLY do all it takes and for as long as it takes? Success doesn’t come easily. You have to set an intention, a goal and continue to focus on that goal day in, day out. Visualize yourself where you want to be and act as if you’re already at the end, having accomplished what you set out to do. Knowing that you have a clear goal, it will be easier for you to navigate through any hardship and get yourself back on track to reach your ultimate destination. Even if you don’t succeed the first time, there’s always a second, a third, and a fourth try… and so on. This is where your will comes into play. Don’t give up. Just because your efforts didn’t work out the first time, that doesn’t mean you’re a failure. All it means is that you now have more experience from your first effort, and your second, your third or your forth effort. Each time you try, you make progress, albeit you may be taking only a few tiny steps forward toward your goal, but nonetheless you make progress. And, as long as you keep your persistence and determination and that ‘vision’ of having already achieved your goal, you will eventually get there because, as you try and fail, you will improve your skills based on your lessons learned throughout your journey. Whenever your inner voice tells you to give up, remind yourself that though you may feel disappointed because you failed, you will be doomed if you don’t try. So keep on going forward…
